Uninspired

This describes the week I’m having.  I’m just feeling unmotivated and generally not with the program.  I have plenty to do, but can’t seem to get off my butt and do it.

Something that deepens this mood is when I have people come to me requesting things via e-mail and they use that blasted red exclamation point.  Why is their request any more important that something from elsewhere?  Why does their lack of planning create a red exclamation point emergency? 

I do not have an answer for that question, but I do have an answer for how that little symbol irritates me.  Yup, after several years of hating that thing I deleted the column it shows up in from the fields my inbox displays.

I feel better already.
