Unintentional Humor

I went to the movies last night and yes, there was advertising as is normal in US theaters.  What was amusing is that there was a political ad followed by a dentist ad.

What music was playing in the background as these ads showed?

The theme to Psycho.  Specifically the “screech, screech, screech” part.

  1. I see where California is putting ads on their license plates. If you’re giving them advertisements they should pay you for it. Next they will pay you to have a tattoo of Cocacola or McDonalds on some part of your anatomy. Maybe I should become a tattoo artist.

  2. I don’t think they’ll get away with that one. It’s like the state saying you have to paint advertisements on your house. Cars are your personal property and you’re required to have a license plate. It also brings into question who pays for the electricity to run the plate. I know it’s a small amount, but still why should the citizen pay for the electricity to run ads for the state?

If it were optional I could see allowing it happen, but the state shouldn’t be able to turn my car into a billboard without my consent.
